made this playlist in anticipation of my favorite season. although i’m a summer baby, i’ve long accepted that i am too sweaty & irritable for it.
i first fell in love with the springtime after my first seattle winter. i discovered the healing potential of natural patterns. i didn’t have to come alive, but if the earth was doing it again i guess i could try.
i feel “so Persian” loving spring, and much like my eclectic style & love of all things gaudy and gold, I treasure this fact as another natural pattern to honor.
in the spirit of ritual & repetition, i sprinkled in some of my neighborhood’s daily soundscape. this version of this playlist wouldn’t exist without a few hundred walks through highland park, in rhythm with parrots and trains.
