i started this playlist in september. it is called, "september is the beginning". every autumn i've experienced since i was 18 feels like the first one ever. i turned on the thermostat, took a walk without sweating, and felt excited about starting over.
i wasn't really starting over, in any sense, but that's what autumn feels like, doesn't it? like a katherine heigl character quitting her shitty job and making the big move. i didn't start over but i did make a few big moves. me and the one tree on my block whose leaves actually turned orange are feeling good about change this year.
